This was a quick pop-up exhibition at the Gallery of the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. At the exhibition, I presented 4 large-format works that I created during the cultural scholarship of the City of Gdansk ( September - December) this year.

This is the first personal exhibition where I presented only works on canvas. From the very beginning, as I started working with drawing when I was a student in Lviv, I was interested in what painting is and whether drawing can be a painting. I am curious about what makes painting a painting - the material, color, or paint itself. I still have not found the answer to this. Charcoal, a pigment that undergoes impregnation of resin varnish that glues it together begins to live as paint that was put on the canvas.
